The Peruvian ocean is extremely rich; it has more than 700 marine species, this is because of their coast is directly influenced by two radically different currents: the cold Humboldt current and the warm Niño current. A diverse range of species are found in the Peruvian Sea, such as sardines, mackerel, hake, crustaceans and mollusks, among many others.
